As you can see lots of fun things happeded at Next Generation today. The above is only a
small record of all the fun.
We celebrated Jackson's 3rd birthday at mat time with songs and of course singing Happy

What a lovely sunny day at Next Generation today, Ethan enjoyed playing,Kingston liked riding on the bikes with Andrew, Toby loved being able to play outside. But the one thing that we all agree on is that to do all these exciting things we need to remember to slap on some sunscreen and slop on a hat... Mums and Dads, please check that your child has a hat they can leave at Next Generation!!! we are trying to avoid having to wear Next Generation hats to stop any break outs of head lice.

Lots of secret Santa stuff has been going on at Next Generation today, I wonder if any of the Mum's and Dad's can guess what the children have been busy making - here are two little hints. Meanwhile check out our awsome dye butterflies and ink prints, we have some clever artists in our midst.

Next Generation Childcare Friday 14th November 08

Today we celebrated Amelia's 5th Birthday at Next Generation. Amelia chose the mat time
songs and then we had some yummy cake that Victoria (Amelia's mum) made - it was the
number 5 with farm animals on it. Lorraine tricked us all and had put relighting candles on
the cake.
Amelia is off to school next week - have a great time at school Amelia and remember to come
back and visit us.

Thursday 13th November, 2008

This is "Octopus" or better known as "Slippery Fish". This song is one of the children's favourite mat time songs. The children knew they were being recorded for the daily diary so that all of their family could watch them. After the children were recorded they were able to watch themselves on our big screen. The children would love to read your comments about their wonderful mat time singing.

Lots of fun happening at Next Generation today, there was lots of laughter coming from the art room as the children rolled the balls in the paint and created their masterpiece. Lots of interesting shapes emerged from the playdough and Toby explored his e-portfolio, revisiting all the fun things he has done at home and writing his own story about Aria his new baby sister.

Thursday 6th November, 2008

Today Toby, Andrew, Aiden, Katie and Luke have made a photo story for the daily diary. The children at Next Generation are very capable of working together. They are the learners and the teachers. As one of our Dads asked his son "What will you teach the other children today?"
