Yay! It's definitely summertime! So many of our children were out and about this morning with Lorraine splishing and splashing in the shell pools and being squirted with the hose. Everyone had on their hats, t-shirts and sunscreen because at Next Generation we like to be sunsmart.

Today we had a visit from our big school friend, Antoine. Antoine showed us all how the haka goes. Some of the children at Next Generation enjoyed Antoine's haka so much that they watched the video over and over again. So we thought that we would put the haka onto the blog so the children can watch it at home also!

2009 is here! We hope you have all had a really wonderful break with your families. Some of you are even lucky enough to still be on holiday. We can't wait to see all of your holiday snapshots. You can bring in your photos, you can email your photos to us or you can even put your holiday snapshots onto your e-portfolios! The teachers are able to help with this if you get stuck!!!!!
