Anyone For Coffee
Well done Finn, I just loved the way you tampered your coffee grounds. This requires lots of skills applying pressure in a downward motion and at the same time twisting the tamper.
Fleur would like a mocha with one shot please.

Finn at home
Finn has been very busy at home with his family and his big sister Millie.
Look at the video of Finn being brave and one of Finn learning a new (and very important) skill.
We are seeing so many exciting videos and photos coming in from home.
It is reminding the teachers how lucky we are to spend our days learning alongside all of you children!
Keep smiling and having fun with your families.
See you soon xx

Emilia says hello
Look at all of Emilia’s photos! Emilia sent us a great email with all of these photos telling us how busy she has been with her family.
Emilia is learning lots at home with her parents and her big sister Leonie. Emilia told us about a new card game she has learnt but it has a really cheeky name 😁. Maybe Emilia will teach us her new game when we go back to Next Generation.
Have you got a new game that you would like to teach the children and teachers?
Tuesday 21st April
The teachers and children at Next Generation talk often about giving things a go and persevering with difficult tasks.
Children, have you mastered a new skill lately? Have you learnt to ride with no trainers like Talen or discovered how to build symmetrical masterpieces like Jiwan?
We would love to see photos or videos of your learning.
Have a fabulous day together!

Bush/Beach Walk
Hello Everyone, I hope you are still surviving Alert Level 4 Lock Down. I am still going on daily walks wherever I can. Today Dad, Mum and I went for a Bush/Beach Walk . I did this walk a year ago when I was home, so it was nice to go again. Hope you are all doing some exercise. Keep safe and I can't wait to see you. Sharalee

Object Challenge
Today's challenge is to find a pen/felt/crayon to the rest of your objects. As you can see I have mine in a box ready for tomorrow for the last object then you can create whatever you like with these objects. If you would like to add more than one pen/felt/crayon you are more than welcome.
I'm looking forward to see what you make.

Making Dye
This is a really great science experiment that you can try together.
Science is all about exploring and sometimes scientists get it wrong but the children at Next Generation know what to do....they persevere!
1 cup of onion skins
1/2 Tablespoon white vinegar
1 cup of water.
Boil for 30 mins. Cool and use.
Remember, dye can stain so choose where you create very carefully AND remember to send in your completed recipes, photos and videos
How to make a Easter Basket
As Easter is fast approaching, I thought I would make a video of how to make a Easter Basket at home, especially as we always make one at Next Gen. I have done a step by step video to help you make one at home. Under the video I have added step by step instructions. Good luck and Happy Easter.

Monday 6th April 2020
Hello Everyone,
Today I went on a Farm walk and climbed a hill with my parents, everyday Mum and I have been walking to keep us busy. This morning we walked up this hill to as none of us had been up there before. It was our next door neighbors farm. We had good views once we got to the top. Mum and Dad saw a deer (I didn't) but we were to slow to get a photo. I tried to make into one video but its not working and so there are little short videos instead. Enjoy hope you are all doing well in your isolation bubble. Also check the last video as I've given you a object to find.
Happy Monday Everyone.
O.k the video's I couldn't get to load so I will pop them up when I have figured that out. So I have added photos instead. The photo below is the challenge, You need to find a rock or stone today and as you can see I have made a challenge box to keep everything in till Friday when we make our creation. Happy hunting..
